Ein schneller Besuch zur Website des Immigrant Ship Transcribers Guild, und so fand ich Sybille und ihre Familie, genau wie sie auf der Website sind.

Leider habe ich ihr Name als \"Schlägel\" von den Akten des Museums übertragen; zur Zeit dachte ich, daß \"Schlegel\" eine Fehlbuchstabierung von \"Schlägel\" war.

thank you so very much for your reply. ... pittsburgh region ....... was at one time known as duetchland. it still has sections where there are many germans living. one masonic lodge in pgh did all its work in german up until the 1950's. we still have the tuetonia club, established in 1854. its a manerchoir [spelling?] much singing, dancing and drinking. they also give lessons in the german language. pennsylvania is perhaps 50% people of german decent.
if you good pass my family tree on to some goebels, wendels or ashenbrenners, perhaps i may establish some relatives.

my name is ronald paul goebel. i understand you would like information about immigrants from heinebach. my grandfather, paulus goebel, his 3 brothers, george, oscar, and adam, his 4 sisters, mary,martha,katharine [?spelling] and elizabeth, along with their mother, magdalene [wendel] goebel left heinebach in 1883, and settled in pittsburgh pennsylvania where we still live today. elizabeth returned being homesick, and married paul walper. their son, gunter walper i believe lives in frankfort/ on the main. he has a son named wolfgang.

paul goebels father was johannes adam go'bel [1825-1881, his wife was magdalene wendel [1839-1912] johannes father was also a johannes [1785-1834] his wife was anna katharina wendel [1785-1856] his father was jacob go'bel married to anna martha brehm. anna's father was johanne george wendel [1746-1818] his wife was anna maria do'll [1747-1817]
magdalene wendels father was johanne george wendel, [1814-1881]married to anna martha aschenbrenner [1811-1870] his father was oswald wendel [1786-1863] anna's father was johannes aschenbrenner [1787-1812] he ws married to anna martha freytag [1789-1822]
